Tha Alkaholiks have been officially added to the Trilloween lineup! That’s right… They will be joining A-F-R-O, Kool Keith, Bronze Nazerath, Wildchild, Bukue One, and Teek Hall for this special Halloween event at Trill Hip Hop Shop on Saturday, October 30th. This is going to be a HUGE day for underground hip hop in Arizona to say the least.
Tha Alkaholiks, aka Tha Liks, consist of Tash, J-Ro, and DJ/Producer E-Swift. Based out of Los Angeles, California this hip hop trio have been putting in work since the early 90s. Their first album 21 & Over was released in 1993 and featured hits such as “Make Room”/”Last Call”, “Likwit”/”Only When I’m Drunk”, and “Mary Jane”. Since then Tha Alkaholiks have dropped 4 other full-length projects ending with Firewater in 2006.
After Firewater, Tha Alkaholiks took some time to themselves before getting back together to hit the road to tour. We (Coolin’ Out Entertainment) had them out for their Red Cup Tour back in 2017. It was exactly what you would expect and hope for from these classic party-rocking hip hop legends. They did all the joints and had Rebel Lounge (Phoenix, AZ) straight crackin’. It was by far one of the most hype shows we have ever done.
Tha Alkaholiks are certainly a great addition to this year’s Trilloween party at Trill Hip Hop Shop. This is the perfect opportunity to see them live, especially if you missed them the last time we had them out. Plus you’ll get to see all the other incredible acts performing at the shop. Don’t forget, we are also hosting one of our famous swap meets featuring vendors selling used records, cassettes, art, streetwear, collectibles, and everything else hip hop you can think of. We will also have food vendors slanging so delicious treats.
Pre-sales will go on sale this week for Trilloween. Special VIP packages including limited edition collectibles, streetwear, and more are already on sale at the shop.
