A-F-R-O (All Flows Reach Out) is set to perform at Trill Hip Hop Shop‘s Halloween party, Trilloween. Another lyrical monster (pun intended) added to an already ridiculous lineup. This show keeps getting better and better. Saturday, Oct 30th Trill Hip Hop Shop is clearly the place to be!

A-F-R-O is an extremely gifted lyricist. The California native got an early start to the game writing rhymes at the age of 11, and recording by the age of 13. He was taken under the wing of underground legend, R.A. the Rugged Man, after winning a freestyle video submission contest that R.A. hosted. A-F-R-O’s video submission quickly went viral, capturing the attention of some of underground hip hop’s biggest names.

I had the pleasure of DJing for A-F-R-O at an R.A. show in Phoenix a ways back, and let me tell you… He did not disappoint. His verbal and overall performance was incredible to say the least. Add that to the fact that he is creative, super chill and has quite a positive energy about him, and you have someone who is literally destined for greatness.

A-F-R-O

All Flows Reach Out dropped his first studio project via Duck Down in 2016, an 8 track album entitled A-F-R-O POLO. The project features Pharoahe Monch and Eamon, and was produced by Marco Polo. He also had a featured role in The Breaks, a 2016 film that chronicles the life of three friends during the early 1990s hip hop scene. The film even spawned a TV series of the same name in which his character, D-Rome, from the movie had a reoccurring role.

A-F-R-O is truly a force to be reckoned with, and he has only just begun to scratch the surface. His addition to Trilloween is really the icing on the cake for an already stellar lineup. So far we have Kool Keith, Tha Alkaholiks, Bukue One, Bronze Nazerath, Wildchild, Teek Hall, and A-F-R-O. There will also be support by DJs Fact135 and This Just-in.

By the way… Shouts out to Chuck aka Evil Jedi for making this happen and Dump La Rock for all of the ill flyers and other creative he always does for the shop. Those two are the driving force behind the vision and put in work like no other.

Don’t forget, there is also a Swap Meet taking place that day with vendors in the Trill parking lot slinging anything and everything hip hop. There are 2 spaces left if you are interested in setting up a booth. Call Trill Hip Hop Shop at 602-595-4510 or hit the official Facebook page here to reserve them asap if you are interested.
