Cypress Hill are West Coast hip hop legends to say the least. Well known for tracks like “I Wanna Get High”, “How I Could Just Kill a Man”,”Insane in the Brain”, and “Hand on the Pump” just to name a few. They are the first hip-hop group to have sold multi-platinum and platinum albums, having sold over 20 million albums worldwide. They are also well known for their marijuana advocacy.
Atmosphere is a hip hop duo from Minneapolis, Minnesota comprised of Slug and Ant. They have built a huge cult following and are (IMO) the most well know hip hop group from the Mid-West. They have 12 studio album releases and still regularly tour to sold out shows across the globe.
DJ Z-Trip… Where do I begin? Z-Trip is a Phoenix area local hero. He is one of the very few who built the platform for all Phoenix area DJs, and raised the bar for what a good Phoenix DJ needs to be. Before he was jet-setting the world, Z-Trip was lighting up stages in Phoenix Arizona. Rocking crowds with his multi-genre approach with unmatched creativity. Many of us have been lucky enough to share a stage with him in his early years. His live remixes are nothing short of incredible. He has always been on a quest to push the limits of what defines a DJ. And if that’s not enough, he is one of the most humble guys behind the wheels you will come across. He has gone out of his way to help many of us over the years, and deserves all of the success has he found.
The show this Sunday is going to be incredible to say the least. Chances are, you will most likely be going regardless, so you might as well stop by Trill and try to win yourself some free tickets. And who knows, maybe you find something else for yourself while at the shop!
