Nike pays homage to Puerto Rico just in time for Puerto Rican Day with a fresh take on their classic Air Max 1 Silhouette. Their new AM1 “Puerto Rico” utilizes the country’s brilliant flag colors of white, red, and blue for the upper which is contructed of premium leather, mesh, and nubuck. Detailing includes an embroidered Puerto Rican flag on the heel, mismatched mudguards in blue & red, and the words “Pa’lante” and “Mi Gente” on the inner tongues. Branding is found via a mesh overlay panel Swoosh, as well as a Nike PR Air Max tongue tag. The finished look fresh to say the least.
