The freestyle God himself, MC Supernatural, will be performing live at Trill’s 4 Year Anniversary on Saturday, April 29th!
This year’s anniversary is certainly shaping up to be one of the best lineups we have ever done over here at Trill Hip Hop Shop. We have already announced performances by Freestyle Fellowship and Blu & Exile. Now we are officially announcing the homie MC Supernatural as one of this year’s performers!
When it comes to the art of freestyling, Super Nat is highly considered one of, if not the best, in the game. Originally from Indiana, the wordsmith moved to NYC at the age of 19. By 1992 MC Supernatural began to get noticed for his on the spot freestyle approach to lyricism. Over the years Super Nat fine tuned his skills, released 3 solo projects, won several freestyle battles, and has worked with artists such as Raekwon , B-Real , Chali 2na, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Honda, Public Enemy, Marco Polo, DJ Muggs, DJ Khalil, DJ Rhettmatic and Evidence just to name a few.
We have developed a relationship with MC Supernatural over the years and have been lucky enough to be the focus of a few of his freestyles here at the shop. His on-the-spot wordplay is unmatched, and there is nothing better than experiencing it live. All the more reason to make sure that you are here at the shop to celebrate out 4 year anniversary with us.
Aside from MC Supernatural, performances at this year’s anniversary celebration include El Da Sensei of the Artifacts, Vast Air of Cannibal Ox, Blu & Exile, Mystik Journeymen, Medusa, and Freestyle Fellowship. Coolin Out DJs Fact135, Reflekshin, Big Red & This Just-In will be providing additional support. Damp La Rock & SAR TMB will be painting live as well. We will also have the Funky Flea market in the side lot with industry vendors, and a few food trucks.
Trill’s 4 Year Anniversary will be taking place on Saturday, April 29th & 30th at Trill Hip Hop Shop. Some tickets are still available, but they are selling fast.
