Illa J is back with a follow up to his 2017 project Home. John Yancey is a 12 song project entirely produced by LA producer Calvin Valentine. This latest project takes inspiration from Illa’s move to California touches upon romantic relationships while still mourning over the death of his brother the late great J. Dilla.
