Elon Musk turned some heads this past Friday during Tesla’s Model Y unveiling due to his custom De Marco Air Jordan 1’s. LA-based sneaker customizer Marco Acosta created a pair of Air Jordan 1 Highs that would reflect the electric car manufacturer’s vision. The pair of custom AJ1s see Horween Leather Shell Cordovan for the toebox. A laser-cut Tesla logo is stitched on top. Both the Tesla logo and Swoosh are made from red metallic leather. The remainder of the black uppers are constructed using python leather and pony hair. These are a one of a kind pair so don’t expect to be able to cop them anywhere. They sure look dope though don’t they.
