El Da Sensei of the Artifacts will be performing at Trill’s 4 Year Anniversary on Sunday, April 30th!
El Da Sensei hails from Newark, New Jersey and is 1 third of the legendary Artifacts crew. The Artifacts released their 1st album, Between a Rock and a Hard Place, in 1994. That album catapulted them into the spotlight with classic hits like “Wrong Side of Da Tracks” & “C’mon wit da Git Down”. The Artifacts only put out 3 studio projects over the next 30 years, but they maintained their place in the culture with hard work and a ton of live performances.
Aside from performing with the Artifacts, El has had a rather successful Solo career putting out several studio projects, as well as numerous singles, EPs, and collabs. There is no doubt that the NJ based lyricist has been busy. In fact, any of you that know him can definitely say he is one of the hardest working artists in hip hop… Not to mention one hell of a nice guy.
To say we are excited to have El Da Sensei on the lineup for this year’s anniversary is an understatement. He has been rocking with us for over a decade. He always gives 110% and always does with it with a smile. He truly is one of a kind and his work ethic, lyrical ability, and longevity are an inspiration to us all. Make sure to cop your tickets for Trill’s 4 Year Anniversary to catch El rock the mic the way only he can.
