The Notorious BIG, aka Biggie Smalls, hails from Brooklyn New York and is considered by many as one of the best MCs of all time. He had a tremendous impact on the culture, and changed hip hop as we know it before his untimely death on March 9, 1997 (R.I.P.). To this day, his murder has gone unsolved. Although gone, he will never be forgotten. His music keeps him very much alive and he will always be one of the very best that hip hop has or will ever see.
