Released on November 9, 1993 Midnight Marauders was A Tribe Called Quest’s 3rd studio album. Featuring production mostly by Tribe’s Q-Tip, the album also bost production contributions from Skeff Anselm, Large Professor and Ali Shaheed Muhammad. This is definitely in my top 5 hip hop albums of all time. I still remember copping this cassette tape the day it dropped at a Tower records on Long Island, NY. It literally ran non-stop in my car for months. With tracks like “Award Tour”, “Electric Relaxation”, and “Oh My God” it’s obvious why this album went platinum in nearly a year.
