It looks like the Fact135 and Tricky T have another beat showcase this week at The Dave Thomas Show. Phillipdrummond from Oakland and lo_tek from Phoenix will be in the building doing their thing. The guys have had Phillipdrummond at The Dave Thomas Show once before. He puts on quite the show. Last time he brought The Phronetic too. Talk about a beast of a producer. We were all amazed, literally, at his live set. I expect nothing less this time around.
The Dave Thomas Show is a weekly at Phoenix’s favorite local watering hole, Rips Bar. Every Wednesday Tricky T and Fact135 get down with a special guest (or guests). This is literally a play what you want situation. Those in attendance will hear everything from hip hop, funk, soul, classic rock, motown, reggae, alternative rock, jazz… Well, you get the point. Basically, you’ll hear everything except country. These guys are truly talented at creating the perfect vibe.
Since it’s conception, The Dave Thomas Show has welcomed guests such as Xist, Spinobi, Hexsagon, Phillipdrummond, The Phronetic, M2, Kris the Fist, Forrest Bump, J-Cut, DashEye, and several other DJs from both the Phoenix area and abroad. It’s a chill vibe. The drinks are cold (and cheap), they have free pool, the staff is amazing, and it is always an adventure.
